Coats for Kids: Church Challenge

Your generosity could bring warmth and comfort to a child living in your neighborhood.

As the temperature drops, some families will be struggling to afford coats for their children.

We are kicking off our annual Coats for Kids campaign. We are collecting new or gently used, clean coats for children in need from October 1 – 29.

We’re challenging local churches to collect as many coats as possible. Church leaders need to ask their congregation to bring in new or gently used, cleaned coats. The coats will be collected by a representative of the local agency that will be distributing the coats after the promotion.

The church that collects the most coats will receive $200 for their kids program from RiverValley AgCredit.

If your school or some of your classes would like to take on this challenge, please contact Patrice Hoffman either by emailing or calling (270) 415-1979 by October 12.

Participating churches:

  • Cave Spring
  • Northside Baptist Church (Team Kids)
  • Cuba Church of Christ
  • Arcadia United Methodist Church
  • Farmington Baptist Church
  • Liberty Baptist Church
