Local 6 Halloween Events

It’s almost time for spooks and treats! Halloween is right around the corner and we here at WPSD Local 6 want to help you celebrate.

We are gathering local Halloween events on this page. If you would like your Halloween event added to this page, email the information to newstip@wpsdlocal6.com.

KENTUCKY:

Arlington — Trick or treating in Arlington has been moved to Tuesday, October 30, due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

Arlington — Arlington First Baptist Church will hold Eat, Treat, and Go on October 31, from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Joy Center.

Ballard County — Trick or treating in Ballard County has been moved to Tuesday, October 30, from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

Bardwell — Trick or treating in Bardwell has been moved to Tuesday, October 30, due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

Benton — Trick or treating in Benton has been moved to Tuesday, October 30. Residents in Merrywood, Wood Trace, and Bent Creek have also decided to host their trick or treating on Tuesday, October 30.

Benton — Briensburg Baptist Church will be hosting a Trunk-or-treat on Wednesday, October 31 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Benton — Vanzora Missionary Baptist Church is hosting an enchanted forest on Wednesday, October 31 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Calvert City — Trick or treating in Calvert City still on for Wednesday, October 31. Residents in Merrywood, Wood Trace, and Bent Creek have decided to host their trick or treating on Tuesday, October 30.

Clinton — Clinton’s Halloween parade will be held on Tuesday, October 30 at 5 p.m. due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

Dawson Springs — Trick or treating in Elizabethtown has been moved to Tuesday, October 30 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

Eddyville — Trick or treating in Eddyville has been moved to Tuesday, October 30, due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

Fulton — Fall Festival at First Baptist Fulton will be October 30 from 6 – 8 p.m.

Fulton — The City of Fulton will observe Halloween on October 30.

Gilbertsville — Bethel Baptist Church will be hosting a Trunk-or-Treat on Wednesday, October 31 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. The event will be moved in the Fellowship Hall if it rains.

Grand Rivers — The Grand Rivers Trunk-or-Treat will be taking place on Wednesday, October 31, inside at the Grand Rivers Community Center from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Hardin — Trick or treating in Hardin still on for Wednesday, October 31. Residents in Merrywood, Wood Trace, and Bent Creek have decided to host their trick or treating on Tuesday, October 30.

Kuttawa — Trick or treating in Kuttawa has been moved to Tuesday, October 30, due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

LaCenter — Grace United Methodist Church is hosting a Trail and Treat, which is also sponsored by Oscar Baptist, Oscar Methodist, LaCenter First Baptist and Fairview Baptist. The event is from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30. There will be a trail of trick-or-treat booths, along with free chili and hot dogs.

Livingston County — Trick or treating in Livingston County has been moved to Tuesday, October 30, due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

Lyon County — Trick or treating in Lyon County has been moved to Tuesday, October 30, due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

McCracken County — Trick or treating in McCracken County in general is still scheduled for Wednesday, October 31.

McCracken County — The Canterbury Hill neighborhood in Reidland will have trick or treating on Tuesday, Oct. 30.

McCracken County — Grace Point Church in Reidland is hosting a trunk-or-treat on Wednesday, October 31 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. It will be indoors.

McCracken County — Lake Forest Trick or Treat will be Wednesday, October 31.

Milburn — Milburn Church of Christ will have its Trunk-or-Treat on Wednesday, October 31 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. If it rains, the event will be moved inside the fellowship hall.

Mayfield — Halloween will still be celebrated in Mayfield on Wednesday, October 31. City Hall will have treat-or-treating from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Mayfield — Mayfield/Graves County Kindness Group’s second annual “It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown!” Tunk or Treat will be held from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31,  at Cartwright Grove on the Mayfield /Graves County Fairgrounds.

Murray — The Trail of Treats will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31. It will be held in the Murray State University CFSB Center. The event was originally to be held at Murray’s Central Park, but it was moved to the CFSB Center due to the weather forecast. The costume and booth contests have been suspended because of the venue change. For more details, click here.

Paducah — Jefferson Street in Paducah has moved trick or treating to Tuesday, Oct 30.

Paducah — Reidland Baptist Church will host a Trail of Treats on Wednesday, October 31 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Paducah — Bellview Baptist Church will hold a Fall Festival on Wednesday, October 31 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Paducah — Lone Oak First Baptist Church will host a Family Fun Festival on Wednesday, October 30 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Paducah — West Kentucky Community and Technical College is hosting a trunk-or-treat starting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30 in the back parking lot at 4810 Alben Barkley Drive. The event will be held until the candy runs out.

Paducah — The City is encouraging families to trick or treat on Tuesday, October 30 due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

Paducah — Paducah First Church of the Nazarene is hosting a fall festival from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the church’s Family Life Center. There will be games, prizes, candy, and free family photos. The church is at 2626 Adams St.


ILLINOIS:

Brookport — Trick or treating in Brookport has been moved to Tuesday, October 30 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

Carbondale — Trick or treating in Carbondale has been moved to 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30, due the weather forecast for Halloween Day,

Cave-in-Rock — Trick or treating in Cave-in-Rock has been moved to Tuesday, October 30 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

Dongola — Trick or treating in Dongola has been moved to Tuesday, October 30 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

Elizabethtown — Trick or treating in Elizabethtown has been moved to Tuesday, October 30 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

Golconda — Trick or treating in Golconda has been moved to Tuesday, October 30 due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

Harrisburg — Trick or treating in Harrisburg has been moved to Tuesday, October 30 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

Herrin — Trick or treating in Herrin has been moved to Tuesday, October 30 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

Marion — Trick or treating in Marion has been moved to Tuesday, October 30 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

Metropolis — Trick or treating in Metropolis has been moved to Tuesday, October 30 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

Metropolis — The Super Museum will be holding a superhero meet and greet on Saturday, November 3 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. There will be a costume contest and other activities. Proceeds from the event will go to the Super Museum Renovation Fund.

Murphysboro — Trick or treating in Murphysboro has been moved to Tuesday, October 30 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

Rosiclare — Trick or treating in Rosiclare has been moved to Tuesday, October 30 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

Shawneetown — Trick or treating in Shawneetown has been moved to Tuesday, October 30 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

Vienna — Trick or treating in Vienna has been moved to Tuesday, October 30 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

Vienna — Shawnee Worship Center says it and other ministries and organizations are hosting a free Trunk or Treat with the city. The event will be from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30 at the Vienna City Park. Attractions include food trucks; zombie paintball; inflatable games, slide and obstacle course; and hose rides, among other activities and booths. TENNESSEE:

Union City — Trick or treating in downton Union City has been moved to Tuesday, October 30 from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. due to bad weather forecasted for Halloween Day.

Martin — The city’s Great Pumpkin Parade will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. City-wide trick or treating will also be Tuesday.

Marin — The Great Pumpkin Party will begin at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, at C.E. Weldon Library. This is an indoor event.
