Local 6 Halloween Events

It’s almost time for spooks and treats! Halloween is right around the corner and we here at WPSD Local 6 want to help you celebrate.

We are gathering local Halloween events on this page. If you would like your Halloween event added to this page, email the information to newstip@wpsdlocal6.com.

Golden Pond — Howl-O-Ween is being held from 12 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 20 at the Woodlands Nature Station in Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. There will be a trick-or-treat trail and a costume contest. The cost is $5 per person ages 5 and up.

Kentucky Dam Village — Halloween at Kentucky Dam Village Campground to be held on Saturday, October 27. Decorate your campsite, trick or treating and more. For more information call (270) 362-4271.

Paducah — Haunted Paducah Horse Drawn Carriage Tour Rides are being help every weekend through October. Cost is $35 per couple. Call 270-243-4365 to make a reservation.

Paducah — Morgan Elementary School is holding a haunted school on Saturday, October 20 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Entry is $2.

Paducah — Concord United Methodist Church will be holding a fall harvest festival on Sunday, October 28 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. The free event will have a chili supper, inflatables, games, and face painting.

Paducah — The Heartland Foundation is hosting a Rocky Horror Pub Crawl from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on October 27 in Paducah. The event is open to adults age 21 and older. Paducah — The Carson Center is hosting a 5K Run/1K Walk on Saturday, October 27th called Monster Mash 5k Bash. The event is for the entire family and pet friendly. You are also encouraged to dress in your Halloween best. Registration begins at 1:00 p.m. and the event starts at 2:00 p.m. Proceeds from the event supports arts-education programming for children, youth, schools, and families throughout the Four Rivers region at the Carson Center. Carbondale — Trick-or-treat hours for Carbondale will be 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31. Those wishing to hand out candy to “trick-or-treaters” should light up their porches and driveways.

Carbondale — “Unofficial” Halloween will be held Friday, October 12 and Saturday, October 13 at Pinch Penny Pub. The event will have hot drink specials, free giveaways, and live entertainment.

Marion — The 3rd annual Marion P.D. Halloween Spooktacular will be held on Saturday, October 27 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Williamson County Fairgrounds.

Metropolis — The Super Museum will be holding a superhero meet and greet on Saturday, November 3 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. There will be a costume contest and other activities. Proceeds from the event will go to the Super Museum Renovation Fund.

West Frankfort — A fall family festival will be held Monday, October 8 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Night’s Shield. The free event will have pumpkin painting, trick-or-treating, and more.
