Trial date set for Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon

CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY — A trial date has been set for Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon.

Redmon appeared at a pre-trial conference in Hopkinsville on Wednesday. At the conference a judge set a trial date for April 9, 2019.

Redmon is accused of taking hydrocodone from the sheriff’s office’s drug drop box for his own use.

In September he pleaded not guilty to first degree possession of a controlled substance and official misconduct.

Redmon just won re-election for sheriff. He was up against six write-in candidates.
