Active shooting drill to take place at CFSB bank

MAYFIELD, KY — An active shooter drill will be held at the Community Financial Services Bank Graves County Banking Center that is currently under construction.

The drill will take place from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 8. The purpose of the drill is to familiarize staff of an active shooter event.

Taking part is the Mayfield Police Department, Graves County Sheriff’s Office, Graves County Emergency Management, Graves County/Mayfield EMS, Mayfield Fire Department, Kentucky Emergency Management, and Jackson Purchase Medical Center.

A notice will be put on the front doors of the building that a drill is being held. CFSB’s Security Team members will also be stationed at the doors to explain the exercise.
