Haily Duvall

LEXINGTON, KY — A University of Kentucky student was arrested early Thursday morning for allegedly making threats against the school on social media.

The University of Kentucky says 19-year-old Haily Duvall, a sophomore from Glasglow, has been charged with terroristic threatening and filing a false police report.

WLEX says Duvall is accused on making threats about White Hall Classroom Building on Snapchat Wednesday. UK Police Chief Joe Monroe says Duvall then reported her own threatening posts to UK police.

Duvall is at the Fayette Detention Center and is expected to be arraigned on Thursday. She could face additional federal charges.

Monroe says there will be a heightened UK Police presence on campus Thursday to provide a sense of assurance.
