SPECIAL REPORT: President George H.W. Bush Houston funeral service and final procession


HOUSTON, TX — There will be two special reports Thursday as coverage of the tributes to President George H.W. Bush continues.

The first special report will provide live coverage of the funeral service at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Houston. It will begin at about 9:50 a.m., Central Time, anchored by Lester Holt in New York.  The report is expected to run until about 11:30 a.m., Central Time.

The second special will show live coverage of the train carrying the casket arriving at Texas A&M University in College Station and the final procession to the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library Center. The special report will begin at around 3:25 p.m., Central Time, and it will be about an hour long. Timing of the second special report may change, depending on when the train arrives and the length of the ceremony. Afterward, the burial will be private.
