Crews reopen Interstate 24 after crashes in both directions

UPDATE: The crashes have been cleared and traffic delays are minimal.


MARSHALL COUNTY, KY– Crashes near the Tennessee River Bridge on Interstate 24 have closed both eastbound and westbound traffic.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reports westbound traffic is blocked near MM 32. You can find a detour by taking Exit 40 along US 62 Westbound to return to I-24 at Calvert City Exit 27.

Eastbound traffic is blocked near Exit 27. Drivers can take US 68 East as a detour.
