LIVESTREAM: KY school safety bill being introduced

FRANKFORT, KY — Kentucky Senator Max Wise will introduce the School Safety and Resiliency Act on Wednesday.

The bill is to improve school safety in the state and was written with help of the School Safety Working Group.

The group traveled throughout Kentucky to get input from school officials, law enforcement officers, mental health professionals and families on how to protect students.

The bill is being introduced to the General Assembly as Senate Bill 1.

The Kentucky Senate GOP released a summary of the bill after it was introduced Wednesday.
