ISP investigation underway in Alexander County

ALEXANDER COUNTY, IL — A state police investigation is underway in Alexander County, Illinois.

The Alexander County Sheriff’s Department told to Local 6 that Illinois State Police are investigating an incident south of Tamms.

Local 6 has reached out to ISP District 22 for details. Trooper Gregory Miller confirmed the investigation is underway. He said the incident happened on Mobile Road off of Illinois 127.

Miller said he could not provide further details when he spoke with Local 6 around 4:25 p.m. Friday, but he said he hopes to get more information out later Friday night.
