Two juveniles charged with burglarizing homes in Murray area

MURRAY, KY — Two juveniles have been charged with burglarizing several homes.

The Murray Police Department says over the holidays they received 7 calls of burglaries in the area off of Bailey Road that is commonly referred to as “Cambridge 2”. This area includes Welch Drive, Harvard Drive, Princeton Drive, Stanford Drive, Vassar Drive, and Wilshire Drive.

Evidence led officers to interview two juveniles who live in the area. That led to the search of a storage shed where multiple stolen items were found. Among the items stolen and recovered were a handgun, multiple electronic devices, jewelry, and clothing.

Both juveniles have been charged with 1st degree burglary and theft of a firearm.

If anyone has information of other possible burglaries in the same area that were not reported please contact the Murray Police Department at 270-753-1621 and ask to speak with Detective Wiggins.
