Getting your kids to brush their teeth

February is National Children’s Dental Health Month. The motto is “Brush and clean in between to build a healthy smile.”

Untreated dental disease can compromise children’s ability to eat well, sleep well, and function well at home and school.

She says letting kids pick their toothbrush, creating a reward system, or making teeth brushing time a dance party can all help get kids excited to brush their teeth.
