UPDATE: The crash site has been cleared and all westbound lanes of I-24 are now open.

LYON COUNTY, KY — A portion of Interstate 24 in Lyon County is blocked because of a semi rollover crash

We don’t have a lot of details right now. We do know the crash happened in the westbound lanes near the 36 mile marker.

This is near the Lyon County weigh station between exit 40 and exit 31.

Drivers are being detoured at exit 40 to US 62. Traffic then travels west on US 62 to get back on I-24 at exit 27 in Calvert City.

The westbound lanes are expected to be blocked until about 9:30 a.m.
