LAND BETWEEN THE LAKES, KY– If a trip to LBL is on your schedule, you may want to check for closures at this website.

The U.S. Forest Service wants to warn visitors that rising lake levels will affect some campgrounds and trails. Levels at Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley are expected to rise a few feet above summer pool in the next few days as flooding from Tennessee flows downriver to the lakes.

Crews will close Piney Campground, Cravens Bay, and Smith Bay on March 1. Other campgrounds will have some restrictions.
