All lanes now open on I-24 Tennessee River Bridge

CALVERT CITY, KY — All lanes are now open on the Interstate 24 Tennessee River Bridge near Calvert City.

Both the east and westbound sides of the bridge had been restricted to one lane since May 2018

During the lane closures, contractors were working on installing new bridge joints.

Now that the installation work is done, the work zone barriers have been removed and all lanes are now open.

There will be a couple overnight closures within the next couple of weeks to add water-proofing and a drainage system to the new joints.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will provide notice on those planned closures.
