Land Between the Lakes reopened

GOLDEN POND, KY — The Land Between the Lakes has reopened.

The national recreation area lost power Thursday due to the storms.

Chris Joiner with the LBL says they have power, but that it is not stable in some places like the Elk and Bison Prairie.

Gates in those areas are controlled by electricity and if the power goes out, someone could get stuck inside.

Because of that, the Elk and Bison Prairie is closed.

Anyone going to LBL is urged to use caution as there could be debris on roads and in campgrounds.
