Beauty Egg Hunt for a Cause benefits cancer patients for 5th year in a row

PADUCAH — And they were off Monday, making a mad dash for Easter eggs on the Carson Center lawn in Paducah.

People didn’t find candy inside, but instead beauty products.

It was f.a.c.e. Makeup Artistry’s 5th annual Beauty Egg Hunt.

Entrance fee proceeds benefit a program for cancer patients called Look Good Feel Better.

Event coordinator and f.a.c.e. Makeup Artistry owner Erin Hendley talked about the importance of this egg hunt.

“There is some sort of beauty to it when you have someone to turn to and someone with resources on how to make yourself look better, and you really do feel better. That name is just so signature to what they offer as an organization, and it’s a very valuable resource,” Hendley said.

Each year, the event raises more than $2,000 for Look Good Feel Better.
