American Airlines pilot arrested in 2015 Christian County, KY, triple murder
FRANKFORT, KY — On Friday, a Christian County grand jury indicted Christian Richard Martin for the 2015 murders of Calvin and Pamela Phillips and Edward Dansereau.
Martin was charged with three counts of murder, one count of arson, one count of attempted arson, a count of first degree burglary, and three counts of tampering with evidence.
He was arrested early Saturday morning at the Louisville International Airport.
In November 2015, Calvin Phillips was found shot to death in his home in Pembroke, Kentucky, and the bodies of Phillip’s wife, Pamela, and their neighbor, Edward Dansereau, were found a few miles away in a corn field in Phillips’ burned up car.
After the murders, Martin moved from Kentucky and was found in North Carolina when he was charged.
Christian Circuit Court Judge John Adkins has ordered the defendant to be held without bond. Martin is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Wednesday, May 22.
