UNION CITY, TN – A freshman at the University of Tennessee Martin Decora Alexander was found dead on Saturday.

Thunderbolt Broadcasting is reporting that she was stabbed to death.

Local 6’s Pauline Fitzgerald spoke to a neighbor who called 911 who did not want to use her name. She told WPSD that she saw people trying to get inside Tony Mosley’s home. She says she heard loud noises and called 911.

The neighbor said she was watching this all happen from her window.

She says when police arrived, they opened Mosley’s door and paramedics were saying “stay with me, stay with me”.

Thunderbolt Broadcasting, a local radio station in Martin, reports that Mosley collapsed from stab wounds to his body and then officers found 20-year-old Alexander dead with multiple stab wounds.

The neighbor did not want to go on camera, but tells WPSD that she’s lived here for more than ten years and has always felt safe. Now, she’s scared and cannot believe this happened in her own backyard.

Alexander is a freshman at the UTM and a dancer on the dance team. Her dance coach Jessica Woody says “Although she was young, she had a positive influence on all her teammates. She was always working to be a better dancer, and wanted to see her team mates succeed with her. She will be greatly missed both on and off the court.”

We have called both Union City police and Obion County Sheriff’s department and are waiting to hear back on more of this investigation.
