Memorial Day weekend accident leads to arrest
GRAVES COUNTY, KY — On Saturday, a driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the concrete barrier wall on I-69 near KY 80 West.
The driver, 24-year-old Shane Price, says an unknown driver swerved into his lane and, while trying to avoid a collision, he lost control of his car and hit the concrete barrier wall causing serious damage.
Graves County Deputy Steve Halsell says Price was driving on a suspended license with expired vehicle insurance.
Price was treated on the scene for minor injuries.
He was arrested and taken to the Graves County Jail and charged with Operating on a Suspended Operators License and Failure of Non Owner to Maintain Insurance.
