Wanted woman driving stolen truck in Graves County found and arrested

GRAVES COUNTY, KY — Heather Wilson and Dalton Crouch were arrested Friday night in Henderson County, North Carolina, after stealing a truck early Thursday morning.

Deputy Turpin of Henderson Co., NC Sheriff’s office said his License Plate Recognition System alerted him to the stolen truck after he tried to pull them over and the driver speed away.

Deputy Turpin chased the truck before the driver, Dalton Crouch, stopped and Heather Wilson got out and fled on foot. Crouch was arrested.

The truck was spray painted black and there was an empty can of black spray paint in the truck. Crouch still had paint on his finger.

Heather was found and arrested at a hotel in Hendersonville a short time later.

Wilson has been charged with resisting and officer, open container of alcohol in the vehicle, felony possession of a motor vehicle, and she was a fugitive of another state.

Crouch has been charged with not having a license, fleeing arrest and felony possession of a motor vehicle.
