LYON COUNTY, KY — On Saturday morning, KY 93 South near Eddyville was closed for a little more than an hour after a three car crash.

The vehicles were severely damaged with three people having minor injuries.

Sheriff White says 57-year-old Janet Moore was driving southbound on KY 93 South with a small trailer loaded with mulch and topsoil. Moore was coming to the entrance of Lee S. Jones Park when her trailer began to sway on the roadway and she lost control of it.

She entered the northbound lane and hit 58-year-old Thomas Wyatt. Wyatt then lost control of his vehicle and went into the southbound lane, where it collided with 50-year-old Montre Keith.

The Eddyvill Fire Department helped Moore escape her car and she was flown to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana, for treatment of her injuries.

Everybody involved was wearing their seat belts and Wyatt and Keith received minor injuries.
