Traffic stop leads to drug arrest in McCracken County

McCRACKEN COUNTY, KY — McCracken County Sheriff Deputies charged 47-year-old Robert Owen with a DUI.

Early Sunday morning, Deputies stopped a vehicle with a broken headlight near the intersection of Irvin Cobb and Bethel Street.

Deputies say the found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in the car during a probably cause search. The driver was arrested and taken to the McCracken Regional Jail.

Deputies charged Owen for driving without a license or insurance while having drugs in the car, a broken headlight and a DUI.

He is being held on a $1,000 cash bond.
