A work zone restriction will be in place along a section of US 62/Dawson Springs Road in Caldwell County for a new water line.
The construction plans to begin Monday, June 10, and go through Friday, June 14.
Traffic will reduce to one lane at milepoint 8.3 and run along US 62 near the Vivian Drive intersection at Princeton.
Flaggers will control alternating flow, and the road will open each night with metal plates over the work areas.

This comes after curbs and drainage were replaced and a ramp removed from the area starting in early May.

A closure of Coleman Road on the south leg of the US 6/Hinkleville Road intersection will begin Monday, June 10.
This closure is near the Burger King and is for ongoing construction of a Double Diamond Crossover Interchange. This will be along US 60 starting at milepoint 10.130 from Holt Road through the I-24 Paducah Exit 4 Interchange. The closure extends to the Coleman Road intersection at milepoint 10.981.
The road will close at 6:30 a.m. June 10. The project ideally will be complete within a week.
To access businesses in this area, drivers will be able to have an alternative access point near O’Charley’s. A median barrier will be up and will restrict left turns to signalized intersections.
KTC says one lane will be accessible in each direction at all times.

Starting Monday, June 10, a section of KY 1954/Husbands Road will be closed for the replacement of the bridge over Bottom Ditch.

Route B – Cape Girardeau County, Missouri
Route B in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane for pavement improvements. The construction will stretch from the Perry County line to Route 72.
Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, June 11 through Wednesday, June 12 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. MoDOT says traffic will be guided through the work zone with the use of a pilot car.
The work zone will be marked.
I-55 – Scott County, Missouri
Both north and south bound lanes of traffic on I-55 will be diverted starting overnight on Wednesday, June 12. The closure is for crews to set girders for the Scott City Interchange bridge, which is on Route PP over I-55 in Scott County.
According to a release from the Missouri Department of Transportation, the northbound lanes will use ramps around Route PP from 7 p.m. June 12 to 7 a.m. June 13, and the south lanes will detour onto exit 89 and go onto Route 61 and Route 77 before heading back to I-55 from 9 p.m. June 12 to 5 a.m. June 13.
Both detours are weather permitting.
The work zone will be marked and MoDOT asks that all drivers use extreme caution in those areas.
