Bond set at $1 million for Paducah man accused of killing ex-wife
PADUCAH — Bond has been set at $1 million for a Paducah man accused of shooting and killing his ex-wife.
A little after 5 p.m. Wednesday, 60-year-old Judy Stalcup was found in a home on Noble Road. She had been shot in the head. She was taken to a local hospital, the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday, but she died shortly before 6 p.m.
In McCracken County Circuit Court on Thursday, Stalcup was arraigned on charges of murder and possession of a handgun by a felon. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for 1 p.m. on July 16.
