Telethon of Stars Stories

CARROLL COUNTY, TN — The 63rd Lions Club/WPSD Telethon of Stars benefits three local centers that help children and adults with special needs. When you give to the Telethon, you make it possible for them to have access to vital services.

Gajarah Garrett is living an incredible life thanks to the care she receives at Easterseals West Kentucky and your donations to the Telethon of Stars.

The Lily Pad is a medical-model child development center that allows children with more complex medical needs to play and learn with other children their age.

If you've never flown into or out of Barkley Regional Airport in McCracken County, you still benefit from the airport. That's because it's one of only a handful of regional airports in Kentucky.

The 63rd Annual Lions Club/WPSD Local 6 Telethon of Stars will take place and air on WPSD Saturday, Sept. 14 from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. from the Carson Center.
