PADUCAH — You can get a free t-shirt, car wash, and pizza with a simple blood donation.

The American Red Cross is holdings its 36th Annual Donor Days Blood Drive on Wednesday, July 10, and Thursday, July 11.

You’ll be able to give blood at the following locations:

  • 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Robert Cherry Civic Center, 2701 Park Avenue in Paducah, Kentucky
  • 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m at Veterans Airport, 10400 Terminal Drive, #200 in Marion, Illinois.

All donors will receive a Donor Days t-shirt and a free car wash courtesy of Finish Line Car Wash (while supplies last).

Those who donate in Paducah will also get pizza from Pizza Inn starting at 11:00 a.m. and will be eligible for hourly drawings for $50 gift cards.

The blood drive is being done during the summer months, a time when blood donations usually decrease.

Blood you donate can be used to help accident victims, surgery patients, organ transplant patients, and those receiving treatment for leukemia, cancer or sickle cell disease.

If you want to donate blood, but can’t make it to the blood drive, you can make an appointment by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or by clicking here.
