LIVINGSTON COUNTY, KY — A man's body has been found in the Cumberland River in west Kentucky, authorities say.

Livingston County Emergency Management Director Daniel Newcomb says the man, who appeared to be a fisherman, was recovered from the river Monday at the 8.5 mile marker near the rock quarry.

Kentucky State Police Post 1 tells Local 6 that investigators are awaiting autopsy reports, and the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife is handling the case.
