DYERSBURG, TN -- Dyersburg High School in Tennessee is on lockdown.

This after the Dyersburg Police Department was called to the school.

Dyer County Sheriff Jeff Box told WMC that a threat was made toward one student and the school was placed on lockdown as a precaution.

Dyersburg City Schools says the school is following procedures. All students and faculty are safe.

There has been no shooting and there is no active shooter.
