CARBONDALE, IL — Parrish Park, located at 2500 West Sunset Drive in Carbondale, is set to be the location of the city’s first public dog park. It’s also where an hour-long pet vaccination clinic will be held.
Rabies, distemper and worms vaccines are available along with microchips and rabies tags for Jackson and Williamson counties. They will treat any animal in line from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 22.
All of those together will cost $35 per animal, or rabies and microchips can be purchased individually for $15 each.
A release from Friends of Carbondale Dog Parks asks that dogs remain on leashes and cats in carriers.
This clinic is a collaboration with Friends of Carbondale Dog Parks, Wright-Way Rescue and TimberTrails.
