LEXINGTON, KY — Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin is expected to hold a news conference Friday afternoon to talk about sanctuary cities.
Sanctuary cities have policies in place that limit cooperation with or involvement in federal immigration enforcement actions.
Currently, Kentucky does not have any sanctuary cities.
Louisville has called itself a “welcoming city of compassion,” but was found last year by the federal government to not be a sanctuary city.
Bevin will be making his sanctuary city policies announcement at Noon central time.
You’ll be able to watch a livestream of that announcement in this story.
