NASHVILLE, TN — The Bonnaroo Festival is taking place June 13-16, so traffic on surrounding roads is expected to increase.
I-24 in western Kentucky is one of the roads expected to see more traffic for festival goers. The Tennessee Department of Transportation released a map of detours to help keep traffic flowing during the duration of the festival.
TDOT also plans to release delay updates through their website and their Twitter page. They said in a news release emergency vehicles will utilize county roads when possible to keep the main roads from getting congested.
