PADUCAH — The Paducah Board of Commissioners has approved an ordinance to raise the insurance premium tax from 6% to 7% to help cover the cost of building an indoor aquatic center.
Commissioners also approved an ordinance allowing the city to issue $22 million in bonds to cover payments associated with the project.
Commissioner Richard Abraham was the only no vote on both issues.
