Eight months after the storm, and debris and damaged buildings still line the streets of downtown Mayfield. The mayor says demolition has to start before any rebuilding can be done. She's urging community members to be patient. 

High temperatures today in the low to mid 80s. Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms in western KY and northwest Tennessee as a weak front moves slowly south from the Ohio river. 

It'll be warm this afternoon with highs in the upper 80s. The highest chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms is between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Expect a dip in humidity and temperature by the weekend.

It's muggy this morning with highs in the lower 90s expected this afternoon. A cold front will bring us lower temperatures and a higher chance of scattered thunderstorms tomorrow.

Paducah Area Transit System customers are filing complaints about late arrivals and departures, scheduling issues, and unreliable service. PATS says with a shortage of drivers, the system's efficiency has taken a hit.

Caldwell and Hopkins counties are under a flash flood warning until 7 a.m. Western Kentucky is under a flash flood watch until 1 p.m. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s today, with a few scattered thunderstorms continuing into the afternoon.

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky’s two abortion clinics filed a quick appeal Tuesday aimed at restoring abortion services in the state. The appeal came a day after an appellate judge reinstated a near-total statewide abortion ban.

MURRAY, Ky. - With a new coach, a new conference and 12 new players, there's been a lot of moving parts in Murray, Kentucky over the last few months.

The Racers officially wrapped up summer workouts this week, and according to coach Steve Prohm, those moving parts are starting to come together.

Another muggy day today with highs in the mid 80s. There's a good chance for rain on Sunday.
