Some shower activity possible in parts of Tennessee and Missouri this morning with a few scattered clouds and high temperatures in the mid 50s this afternoon. Temperatures in the lower to mid 30s overnight with morning frost likely on Wednesday.

Tracking the threat for severe weather and flooding from about 4 p.m. to 11 p.m Friday.  

Tracking a high risk of flash flooding Thursday night into Friday morning. The heaviest rain is likely to fall in southern Illinois and southeast Missouri, with three to five inches of rainfall expected. 

Mild morning with a few light rain showers, but by and large, rain chances are on their way out for today. Looking ahead, another round of storms are moving into the region Thursday into Friday, bringing a high risk of flash flooding for most of the area.

The December 2021 tornado outbreak left many in Kentucky without homes. Many survivors turned to the Federal Emergency Management Agency for help. One woman says after she was placed in a camper by the organization, things went downhill, and now she is facing eviction.

Cloudy, milder start today. By noon, showers will be widespread across southeast Missouri and northwest Tennessee, spreading throughout the region between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
