The state saw a new case record of 4,151. Of the over 4,000 new cases, 461 of those cases are in children.
The ninth highest number of new COVID-19 cases in a day for Kentucky was reported Tuesday.
The state saw 2,931 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday. That's the third highest number of new cases in a day since the pandemic began.
That brings the total number of cases to 139,097.
KY 1124 is closed at the 2.7 mile marker to allow the replacement of a culvert that carries a branch of Vulton Creek under the roadway. This closure is along KY 1124 immediately west of the Usher Road intersection.

Beshear says this will help with broadband upgrades in Henderson and Hopkins Counties, it will provide upgrades to the Trigg County Hospital and software engineering training in Paducah.
This is to allow businesses more time to serve customers during sports season.
