On Friday night during the 4th quarter between Fulton County and Fulton City, something special took place.

With the Pilots about to win, Fulton County put in junior wide receiver Dapheus Allen. Allen raced to the endzone on his second play scoring his first touchdown.

Moments later, on Fulton City’s first play, they handed it off to sophomore Kelon Bean. Bean ran 60-yards for the score.

Everyone on both sidelines cheered.

Both Allen and Bean have autism.

Both have practiced, played, and fought with their teams throughout the season.

In those final moments, the final score didn’t matter, and this rivalry took a back seat to sportsmanship and doing something extraordinary.
