Before kickoff on Friday night, longtime McCracken County assistant coach Cary White was surprised by being inducted into the Kentucky Middle School Football Hall of Fame.

White has been coaching football for nearly 20 years at both McCracken County and Lone Oak. In 2008, he was a key figure in forming the Kentucky Middle School Football Association.

The KMSFA is set up to hold state championships, 7-on-7 tournaments, and coaches clinics for Middle School’s across the state of Kentucky.
