Four local student-athletes closed out the 2019 Track & Field season by winning state championship Thursday in the KHSAA 1A Meet.
Mayfield’s Barrett Henley won a state title in the shot put for the second-straight year with a throw of 15.91 meters.
Fulton County’s Corey Smith won the triple jump with a leap of 13.22 meters.
University Heights Academy’s Isiah Pantiere won both the 200 meters and 400 meters.
Murray High’s Keagin Brooks won the discus with a throw of 34.92 meters.
