PADUCAH, KY — Graves County sophomore Sophie Galloway lived up to the massive expectations placed on her by winning three state titles on Saturday at the KHSAA 3A State Track and Field meet.
Galloway won in the 100 meter hurdles, long jump, and triple jump. In the triple jump, Galloway set state records in her final two attempts during the event jumping 40′ 7″.
Overall, Galloway has now won five total state championships.
Marshall County’s Tori McCracken successfully repeated as state champion in the girls high jump. McCracken’s jump of 5’6 was a personal record.
