DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Michael McDowell is hoping his Daytona 500 victory brings more success to his small team.

Front Row Motorsports is a third-tier NASCAR team that doesn't have the resources to typically contend for wins.

The Daytona 500 win was just the third in FRM's 17 years of competition.

But it put McDowell into the playoffs for the first time and now his No. 34 team can be aggressive the remainder of the regular season.

McDowell can take chances the team can't typically afford.
