Murray State University staff along with Racer Athletics’ coaches and administrators spent Monday night in Mayfield as part of the first “Racers Roadshow” of the summer. The Roadshow is a two-week tour of the region giving a chance for MSU to go visit fans, students, and alumni in their hometowns. Murray State Athletics Director Kevin Saal says the first stop of the tour was an overwhelming success.

“Oh, it was great,” Saal said. “We had a great time. We had so many good Racer fans here in Mayfield at the Country Club. I think we’ve got 10 or 12 stops here in the next two weeks. We go Monday through Thursday this week and next week. We’ve got a doubleheader tomorrow. We’re in Paducah on Thursday. It’s just an awesome opportunity to talk to Racer Nation.”
