The Local 6 community has a strong tradition of helping others. For decades, you have helped us raise money for programs that assist people with special needs.

We are excited to announce plans for the 62nd Paducah Lions/WPSD Telethon of Stars!

It will air November 17 on WPSD along with our livestream and Facebook page. It starts at 7 p.m. and will feature our local stars along with Wynonna Judd and the Big Noise, Collin Raye, and Craig Wayne Boyd!

You can then wake up to our Gospel Concert on November 18 at 9 a.m. It will also be on air, online, and on Facebook.

When you buy a ticket to attend the 62nd Telethon of Stars Celebration Concert, you're helping fund programs in our area that assist people with special needs. One of those people is Kane Powell, this year's Easter Seals West Kentucky child representative.

The 62nd Telethon of Stars Celebration Concert is just weeks away, and when you buy a ticket, you're helping some very special kids and adults in our community. One young girl you're helping is 6-year-old Ella Paige Carey.

Lukas and Elijah are twins who were born very early. They faced developmental delays. With the help of a program serving children with special needs in six northwest Tennessee counties, they're right on track.

Telethon of Stars: Stewart Owsley

This year's adult representative from Easter Seals West Kentucky is Stewart Owsely. He was born with a mild intellectual disability and cerebral palsy, but he doesn't let life slow him down.

2-year-old Austin Nipp wasn't supposed to live after a medical emergency at birth. Austin's strong will and his family's faith proved the doctors wrong.

3-year-old Harrison Thweatt has a genetic disorder. He's one of many children you can help get care they need through the Telethon of Stars Celebration Concert.
